Attribution Analytics and Reports

Compare revenue and ROAS by channel, weigh first- against last-touch credit, then turn the view into a report you can schedule and share.

These images are illustrations of the concept, not screenshots of the actual product.

Overview

Attribution Analytics and Reports is the measurement layer of HeadshotMarketing, where every campaign, social post, paid ad and organic visit is judged by what it returned. The concept pairs the two screens of the Analytics module: a performance dashboard that breaks revenue and return on ad spend down channel by channel, and a reports workspace where those views become the recurring deliverables leadership expects.

Teams running email, social, paid and organic programs in separate tools usually reconcile the numbers by hand, and every tool claims credit for the same customer. The design answers that by putting spend efficiency, conversion and attribution on one page, drawn from the same campaigns and contacts the rest of the platform already works with, so the question of what actually drove revenue has a single place to be answered.

The analytics dashboard opens with a date-range selector and an Export action beside the page title, above four headline cards covering total revenue, return on ad spend, cost per acquisition and conversion rate. Beneath them, a revenue-by-channel chart layers email, social, paid and organic as shaded curves across the period, while a companion panel sets the same four channels against each other as paired horizontal bars for efficiency. An Attribution chart places first-touch and last-touch credit side by side as grouped bars, which is how a marketer separates the channels that open a journey from the ones that close it, and a ranked Top Campaigns table adds revenue and ROAS per campaign.

The Reports screen turns those views into something repeatable. A saved-reports list runs down the left, each entry carrying a weekly or monthly cadence badge and an owner, covering subjects such as an executive summary, channel ROAS, campaign performance and funnel conversion. The selected report fills the rest of the page as a canvas of widgets, each with its own menu, and Schedule, Share and Export PDF actions sit in its header. A dashed add-widget tile invites another panel, and a New Report button starts one from scratch.

Within the wider product this concept closes the loop that campaigns, ads, social and the CRM open. The command center gives a quick pulse; Analytics is where the channel economics are examined in detail and handed, on a schedule, to the people who fund the work.

What this concept shows

  • Four headline cards for total revenue, return on ad spend, cost per acquisition and conversion rate, with a date-range picker and an Export action
  • A revenue-by-channel chart layering email, social, paid and organic across the selected period
  • A ROAS-by-channel panel comparing the same four channels as paired horizontal bars
  • An Attribution chart setting first-touch against last-touch credit as grouped bars
  • A Top Campaigns table ranked by revenue with a ROAS column
  • A saved-reports list with weekly and monthly cadence badges and a named owner per report
  • A widget-based report canvas holding a headline-figure strip, a trend chart, a comparison chart, a funnel and a compact data table
  • Schedule, Share and Export PDF actions on the open report, plus a dashed add-widget tile and a New Report button

How it works

  1. Open Analytics from the module sidebar and pick a date range for the period you want to judge.
  2. Read the four headline cards for revenue, return on ad spend, cost per acquisition and conversion rate.
  3. Compare channels in the revenue-by-channel curve chart and the ROAS bar panel to see which are earning their budget.
  4. Check the Attribution chart for gaps between first-touch and last-touch credit, then scan the Top Campaigns table for the individual efforts behind the totals.
  5. Export the dashboard view, or move to Reports and open a saved report such as the weekly executive summary.
  6. Review the report's widgets, each with its own menu, and add another panel from the dashed Add widget tile.
  7. Schedule the report on a weekly or monthly cadence, share it with colleagues, or export it as a PDF.

Who it's for

  • Marketing directors and CMOs reporting on marketing's contribution to revenue
  • Performance and growth marketers deciding where to move budget between channels
  • Marketing operations analysts who build and maintain recurring reports
  • Agency account managers preparing scheduled client reporting
  • Small-business owners who want one honest view of what their marketing returns

Analytics Dashboard with Channel Attribution

Headline figures, revenue and ROAS by channel, first- versus last-touch credit and top campaigns on one page.

This illustration shows the Analytics page on a desktop layout in a dark theme. A left module sidebar runs from Dashboard and Campaigns through Social Media, Ads, Influencers, Analytics, CRM, Automation, Content, Events, SEO and Page Builder, with Analytics highlighted; the top bar carries an organization and workspace switcher, a global search field, help, a notification bell with an unread dot, a theme toggle and a user avatar. Beside the page title sit a thirty-day range selector and an Export button. Four cards report total revenue, return on ad spend, cost per acquisition and conversion rate using invented sample figures. Below, a Revenue by Channel chart layers email, social, paid and organic as shaded curves, a ROAS by Channel panel compares the same channels as paired horizontal bars, an Attribution chart pairs first-touch and last-touch columns, and a Top Campaigns table lists placeholder campaigns with revenue and ROAS columns.

Saved Reports with Schedule, Share and PDF Export

Saved reports with cadence badges, and a widget-based executive summary ready to schedule, share or export.

Presented inside a frame whose callouts name the desktop web layout, the top bar, the left sidebar, the main screen and the dark theme, this illustration shows the Reports screen of the Analytics module. A New Report button sits at the top right. On the left, a Reports card lists saved reports, each with a weekly or monthly cadence badge and a placeholder owner name, covering an executive summary, channel ROAS, campaign performance, funnel conversion and a further saved entry; the executive summary is selected. It opens on the right with Schedule, Share and Export PDF buttons in its header and a grid of widgets below, each with its own overflow menu: a strip of five headline figures, a trend chart across a date axis, a grouped-bar comparison chart with a two-series legend, a funnel graphic, a compact data table of sample rows and numeric columns, and a dashed Add widget tile.
